Hello, there. I’m Kris Kerzman, a writer and journalist living in Moorhead, Minn. I like making internet, reading internet, and watching upload/download status bars fill.

I recently began a new job as a digital content producer at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. I write stuff, post stuff to the web, and compose short sentences for your favorite social networks. I’m excited and proud to be part of a new Forum initiative to find new ways to use the internet, report quality news and information, and maybe slip in cat fail gifs once or twice along the way.

My interests lie in digital media, the arts and creativity, technology and culture, and politics. I love board games, public radio, current affairs, music, greasy food, Doctor Who, and beer. I’ve recently migrated to Linux, a move that has prompted me to advocate for Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and net neutrality on the grounds of universal access and free speech. I’m also slowly but surely learning pretty much failing at learning Python.

I have a very talented wife with her own photography business, a talkative and precocious five-year-old daughter, and a chubby baby boy. We have two cats, Onslow and Pauline.
